What can we say about shopping in Riyadh ?

One, because there is no sales tax Riyadh can be a shopper's paradise;

Two, all the major shops are there;

Three, a lot of those shops are found in the most luxurious, beautiful and modern, airconditioned shopping malls.

In one of those malls, the Mamlaka Mall located in the Kingdom Tower, the second level is for women shoppers only, and all personnel on the floor are female as well.

If you want to see the traditional bazaars called souqs you'll have to go to the Batha area. Here you can wander around look and snif up the traditional Riyadh searching for you're Persian rugs, Bedouin jewelry and bags, and traditional clothing items, and haggle the prize, which is fun to do and expected.
